Xfinity has no upside. Worse product, worse value, worse stability, worse company. I’ve had a better experience with AT&T Fiber than Google Fiber. Over the course of 1 year with ATT we never had a single outtage. With Google Fiber since October we’ve had 4 outtages lasting several hours/days.I had Comcast before. Comcast was fine but the gigabit fiber is way more consistent. If I had a choice I’d go fiber over cable anytime. AT&T may own the lines but the support on the backend is the most important part. A lot of the fiber is owned by AT&T but I'd never use them for just having piss poor support even at the business level.

The non promo pricing for the gig plan for comcast was around $110 the last time I have had them. Add $25/mo to that to get rid of the cap. $135 total. Dial-up -> DSL -> Cable -> Fiber (FIOS) Cable is always going to be worse than Fiber as far as Internet, and DSL worse than cable, and dial-up worse than DSL.AT&T would be your best bet since AT&T uses Fiber which is better than Cable which Xfinity uses. You’ll experience less outages and less price hikes with AT&T compared to Xfinity. That being said, if you have the option of going with AT&T Fiber, I would take that personally.
